In development: The new version
CalcTape for Windows is currently being rebuilt from the ground up. The features, the editions comparison, the prices and the screenshots on this page show the new version; the prices apply once it is released. If you would like to try it early, sign up with your email address as a beta tester and we will get in touch as soon as it starts.
CalcTape for Windows is a desktop calculator with an editable paper tape for your PC: the whole calculation stays visible, interim results structure it, and every number and operator can be corrected afterwards. The software replaces your old desktop calculator.
Features of the new version
Enter a long list of calculation items at once – and keep the overview, just like an adding machine with a paper tape.
Change any item afterwards – the entire calculation updates automatically.
Use interim results to structure and verify your calculation.
Comment your items to give context and meaning to the calculation.
Save calculations as files, reopen and edit them anytime – with automatic recalculation.
Use files as templates for similar calculations and what-if scenarios.
Preassigned tax keys you can adapt yourself – in every edition.
Named values (variables) with parentheses and trigonometric functions, without a limit and without a surcharge.
Pro version: any number of files side by side, your own keys and keyboards, adding machine mode, theme editing, Excel export, backup and commercial use.
Freeware, Pro & Business compared.
The full calculating comfort is free – Pro and Business add professional and company features.
